Ms. Gist came
to the Nashville legal community in 1988 from Florence,
Alabama. She received her B.S. from the University of North
Alabama in 1980 and continued her paralegal study at Volunteer
State University in Gallatin. Ms. Gist is a member of the
Middle TN Paralegal Association and has performed substantive
legal work, including interview of witnesses; analyzing and
digesting legal documents; investigating facts; performing
limited legal and factual research; drafting pleadings, legal
memoranda, and briefs; and obtaining and managing information
to assist in trial preparation, assist at trial, and aid in
preparing appeals.
