David
M. Smythe
Mr. Smythe received
his B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1979, and his J.D. from
the University of Tennessee in 1982. He has been published in
the Tennessee Bar Journal on Creditor Rights issues, including
"Tennessee Legislature Solves Secured Lenders'
Dilemma" (May, 1984) and "Rule 68 Offers of
Judgment- A Question of Cost" (June 1987). In addition,
he regularly conducts seminars on construction liens and
foreclosure sales in Tennessee.
Mr. Smythe practices
creditor litigation, construction law, collections,
foreclosures and representation of creditors in bankruptcy.
Mr. Smythe is a member
of the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations.
Certifications
of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in all
areas of practice relating to or included in the areas of
Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, Business Bankruptcy, Consumer
Bankruptcy, Creditor’s Rights, Medical Malpractice, Legal
